I was working on a fabric project today and had some extra fabric. So Lily pretended like she was at the store and bought the extra then took it "home" to make a blanket for her girl. She comes back a while later with a pretend birthday cake and wrapped up present. It is a blanket she made for me. She drew a monster on the back. And the scraps are birthday cards. I was surprised and surprisingly touched, I didn't realize she was really making a blanket and for me? I love her name at the top (slightly out of order) and that the ears look like eyes. Maybe I'll sleep with this blanket now, feels like love to me.
